It has been a tradition at our company to hold orientation workshops throughout the year for our new employees. Those who have been with the company for less than a year are required to attend these workshops.

The purpose of these workshops is to provide the most updated training to our newest members of our company.During the two days in November, each participant will get a chance to become acquainted with our executive personnel as well as each other. Participants will also be exposed to our latest line of products and will be informed of the company’s vision and goals for the year 2011.

These four people on my team will be in attendance.As for LennyBrown, he has provided written permission to be excused from the orientation. The reason for his absence is that his grandfather has passed away, so he must make a trip to his home country to attend the funeral. The situation is unfortunate for his family but as for the orientation, I think it will be okay. Lenny has been with us just under a year, and I think he can afford to miss this orientation.
